Year 10

Welcome to Year 10!

Year 10 starts where Year 9 finished off with pupils continuing their GCSE courses in their chosen options and core subjects. Success at Key Stage 4 requires maturity and independence from the year group as they continue their three year journey towards a bright future!

Throughout the year there are also a number of fantastic opportunities to get fully involved in school life, including becoming a peer mentor for our younger pupils and taking on a role as prefect of the school, helping pupils to make positive choices in all aspects of their lives. Pupils will have the opportunity to go on external trips related to their chosen subjects that will support them in their decision making for the future.

There are also many extra-curricular activities to be undertaken including school concerts and sports events where pupils can demonstrate their talents and socialise.  At the end of the year, pupils can look back on all they've achieved and begin to start planning for the future and all that it brings!
