The Snaith School is a supportive and friendly environment to learn in. The staff care about our education, future and wellbeing and want to give us the best experience possible. Everyone is cared for and treated with respect and we think the way that we are taught is a fun and enjoyable way to learn. Other pupils at our school feel the same as us and always leave with fantastic results. Also, we find that it is a comfortable learning environment without pressure being applied by staff.
There are various extra curriculum activities that every pupil is very welcome to take part in, ranging from Physical Education to homework clubs. The school offers many sports clubs and drama and music productions and there are trips for all year groups, providing opportunities that are beyond the classroom, trips to Germany, London and New York as well as a water sports trip to Spain, to name just few. We have non uniform days and enterprise weeks which raise money for charity and bring the school community together.
As Prefects of The Snaith School, we act as a role model for the younger pupils and demonstrate this on open evenings and parent evenings for each year group. We also have a school council and a mentoring scheme which we encourage people to join. We thoroughly enjoy having the position and responsibility of Head Prefects and are honoured to have this role. We act as leaders and guides towards the other year 11 pupils who hold the position of Senior Prefect and Prefect. As Head Prefects we represent the school which we do to the best of our ability, as it is a rewarding position to have and we respect that.
We have really enjoyed out time at The Snaith School and feel like our knowledge, skills and confidence have flourished. We feel that all of the teachers and staff are enthusiastic and supportive. The school holds a welcoming atmosphere that makes The Snaith School a pleasant place to learn. When we leave, we both intend to go onto further studies at college doing A levels, then proceed onto University, extending the knowledge we have learnt at School. We will always have high opinions and think greatly of The Snaith School and overall think it is an excellent school. The five years that we have spent here have been memorable and we are sure that we will look back in time with the fondest of memories.
