McDonald's Fun Football Sessions...

We are hosting free McDonald's fun football sessions this summer for 5-7 years olds. The 4 weeks of free McDonald's fun football will start on:

Sunday 26th June 2022, 10-11am at The Snaith School.

It’s all kicking off at The Snaith School, Pontefract Road, Snaith.  Work has been completed to construct a new, state of the art, all-weather 3G pitch and this was officially opened in July 2021.

The pitch is a massive asset to the school and the local community. It is available for hire after 5pm and at weekends and school holidays with a key aim of the project to develop girls’ football, support disability sports in the area and promote physical well-being in our community through sport.

The new community venture will bring a high quality, safe area for footballers and other 3G pitch users and there will be new work opportunities created too, through both formal and volunteering routes.

Funding for the pitch has been secured from the Football Foundation, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Goole  Fields Windfarm, Garfield Weston Foundation and Hull and East Riding Charitable Trusts well as fundraising donations received from Snaith Juniors and Goole Town Tigers Football Clubs and the school itself, and we thank all the parties involved in raising funding for the major project

The pitch is available to hire between 17:00 - 22:00 hours, Monday to Friday and all day on a weekend.  Bookings must be made in advance by emailing office@thesnaithschool.org.uk or calling the school on 01405 860327.  A responsible adult, over the age of 18 must be present at the time of hire.
