Able, Gifted and Talented Pupils at the The Snaith School

‘Leaders have raised expectations for the progress and attainment of the most able pupils’ OFSTED 2017

What is Gifted and Talented?

The Snaith School is committed to personalising learning and raising attainment for all pupils. As part of this process, the school emphasises the importance of departments and individual teachers identifying and challenging all cohorts of pupils including those pupils who are Able Gifted and Talented.

How are you identified as Able, Gifted and Talented?

'Gifted' describes learners who have the ability to excel academically in one or more subjects such as English, Maths and Science.

'Talented' describes learners who have the ability to excel in practical skills such as Art, Music, PE, or Drama.
