The Snaith School

Religious Education

Welcome

Religious Education at Snaith School is a highly successful and challenging subject and boasts some of the best results in the school. The RE department also aims to bring the subject to life. We have invited Debbie Purdy in to speak to students about assisted suicide, Martin House Hospice to speak about alternatives to euthanasia, and the Prison Me, No Way! team to speak to students about the conditions of prison. We also regularly visit places of Worship to help bring the subject to life. In RE we challenge students to develop their own opinions whilst being fully aware of the reasons that people form opinions that may be vastly different from their own.

The Department is made up of:
Mr G. Gardner, Mrs H. Yates, Miss S. Barr and Miss P. Burrows.
