Citizenship
Welcome
Citizenship at The Snaith School aims to give students the understanding and the tools to take an active part in modern society. Whether it is where to get help with consumer rights, or understanding what to do when voting in an election, we feel that Citizenship plays an important role in developing our students as young adults. Furthermore, the subject is designed to give students the experience of shaping their community and of having both power and responsibility.
So far Citizenship at GCSE has been extremely successful with 78% of students achieving A*-C in the first year of the GCSE.
The Subject Leader for Citizenship is Mr G. Gardner
The Key Stage 3 Citizenship Co-Coordinator Miss S Barr
Teachers of Citizenship – Mrs H Yates and Miss P Burrows
