This website is not only packed with information, help and advice it also has details of local and national apprenticeship vacancies.

Post-16 option choices - A step-by-step guide to choosing post-16 options. Whether you are staying on at school or college, wanting to do an apprenticeship or start your own business this website will help you make the decision about what might be best for you.

I4U is ‘Information for you’. A downloadable booklet that offers a source of information to help guide you through your post 16 options and makes you think about what you want to do.
Inside are activities to help you discover your Learning Style, information on all the options open to you, advice on making applications and job interviews plus quizzes, activities and links to useful websites.

Not sure where or what to learn next? This Prospectus website may be able to help you make some choices is a generic application for all local further education facilities.
By logging on pupils are able to view all courses and training opportunities available to them locally. They can search for a subject, course or for a particular school, training provider or college. It can help you make choices as it contains lots of information about what and where you’ll learn. Whilst all pupils can use the search facility on the system, the bookmarking and application facilities are not available until the end of Year 10 when all pupils will receive their own personal log on details.
In Years 10 and 11 pupils receive training and support on using the system as part of the PSHCEE programme, they have access to the system during lunchtimes and can also access the site from home.

UCAS

Find universities and colleges using the ‘Where to Study’ link or research courses using the ‘Course Search’ facility. Everything you need to help you decide on the best university for you.

U-Explore is an interactive careers education site, you will find lots of information about careers that you may be interested in and the training and qualifications you will need. The site has videos or real people who are working in their chosen fields and practical tips on how to reach your goal.
